Ilvermorny is a school that is located in Massachussetts, atop of Mount Greylock. You travel there from the ground level by a small wagon that might seem unsafe and small at first sight (Don't worry, it has been enlargened by an extension charm). You probably should avoid the Pukwudgies working there - not because they would throw you off downhill (even though they might, if you annoy them enough), but mostly because they are overall not that optimistic and complain about anything they can. You can sometimes see wild eagles or ravens trying to befriend owls if you stare out the window long enough, or even catch a niffler digging the rugged terrain for anything glittery. In the morning, you can't see anything outside because of the mist that also hovers around in the dining hall sometimes, but in winter the scenery is magical.
The current headmaster is nice, but might seem sort of weird at first glance - she has a habit of forgetting things mid-sentence and owns a hippogriff with a bladder problem.
And in case you're a no-maj, well; what are you doing there staring at that pile of rocks? Of course you didn't see a walking porcupine. Go on!
